Rice University Students Give Salad Spinner New Blood with Sally Centrifuge
Houston Business Journal -- Two Rice University students working on a class project have transformed a kitchen utensil into a medical device. Lauren Theis and Lila Kerr modified a hand-powered plastic salad spinner to create Sally Centrifuge, a container for processing blood samples.
