Rhode Island Hospital Physician Develops Ebola Diagnostic Device Without Having To Touch Patient
Adam Levine, an emergency medicine physician at Rhode Island Hospital, the Miriam Hospital, and a professor at Brown University has developed a diagnostic tool that can be used to diagnose Ebola in suspected patients whom doctors can’t be sure has the disease yet.
With his experience setting up and running an Ebola clinic in Africa, Levine and his associates intended to provide an accurate diagnostic tool that can be used to diagnose Ebola quicker before any further confirmation returns a positive status.
