Registration for the 2015 Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) International Convention Now Open

Washington, D.C. (January 29, 2015) – The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announced today that registration is now open for the 2015 BIO International Convention®. BIO 2015 will take place June 15-18, 2015 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. The 2015 BIO International Convention is where the global biotech community meets, connecting the people, companies and innovations that help to fulfill the promise of biotechnology through healing, fueling, and feeding the world.
“We are thrilled to bring the BIO International Convention back to Philadelphia. In fact, 80% of the U.S. pharmaceutical industry is represented in the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. This makes Philadelphia perfectly positioned to host the largest, most influential event for the biotechnology community,” said Scott Whitaker, President of the BIO International Convention. “We listened carefully to Convention attendees in San Diego last year and have made several exciting enhancements to the event this year as a result. “
The 2015 BIO International Convention will showcase the many ways in which biotechnology continues to offer answers and hope for the world’s most pressing problems. The event features keynotes and session programming from leading policymakers, thought leaders, analysts, scientists and CEOs.
BIO 2015 offers the chance to connect with thousands of companies through BIO’s One-on-One Partnering™ system as well as the world’s largest biotechnology exhibition – the BIO Exhibition. BIO 2014 hosted a record-breaking 29,000+ partnering meetings within the BIO Business Forum and BIO Exhibition, fostering licensing, investments and company interactions.
