Reflect Scientific, Inc. Issued Key Patent for High Efficiency Insulation Used in Cryogenic Applications

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - June 07, 2011) - Reflect Scientific, Inc. (OTCBB: RSCF), a provider of diverse products and services for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and transportation industries, announced that a key patent was issued by the United States Patent Office for a process that creates a very high efficiency insulation that can be used in a variety of thermal insulation applications.

A simplified manufacturing process creates a flat insulation panel with an R value in excess of 100. This is a significant achievement in flat panel insulation. The high efficiency insulation is used in the ultra low temperature Cryometrix T-150 freezers that Reflect Scientific manufactures and sells. "The thermal insulation is not limited to our Cryometrix T-150 freezer. It can be used in a variety of applications where very high insulating capabilities are required. I think this will open up a whole new market for Reflect," remarked Dr. Boyd Bowdish, Principal Scientist at Reflect Scientific.
