(NASDAQ: ISIS), has been awarded the 2013 Distinguished Scientist Award by the San Diego section of the American Chemical Society (ACS). The award recognizes Dr. Crooke's contributions in leading Isis Pharmaceuticals, a long-standing leader in drug discovery in the San Diego community. Isis' innovative RNA-based drug discovery technology has created a pipeline of novel antisense drugs to treat a wide variety of diseases.
