Radlink Introduces Pro Imaging(TM) Product Line For Integrating Digital Imaging Into Physician Offices

REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Radlink, Inc., a supplier of affordable medical imaging systems to healthcare providers, today announced the introduction of their Pro Imaging(TM) product line, a cost-effective hardware and software solution that enables physician offices to convert from film-based x-ray imaging to a total digital environment.

The new Pro Imaging turnkey software offering includes a suite of applications that allow physician offices to manage the archival, transmission and display of digital x-ray images.

Radlink will be offering one-on-one demonstrations of their new software at RSNA 2006, the 92nd Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, which will take place Nov. 26 - Dec. 1, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Radlink will be located in Booth #2971 on the floor of the exhibit hall.

Radlink has been garnering national attention in the healthcare imaging marketplace for the past year due to the highly successful introduction of its CR Pro(TM) machine. The CR Pro utilizes sealed fiber-optic laser technology to obtain high-resolution, high-quality digital x-ray images at a substantially lower cost than other options in the marketplace.

"Leveraging leading-edge technology, our Pro Imaging products provide small physician offices with high-quality imaging devices and a unique, feature-rich software suite that allows them to digitize existing x-ray films and make the switch to computed radiography in a very cost-effective manner," said Thomas Hacking, chief executive officer of Radlink. "Pro Imaging is scalable and fully compliant with DICOM, which means that our customers can rely on one software system to manage medical data integration, archival of x-ray images and overall practice workflow. We're making it possible for healthcare providers of all shapes and sizes to have access to a totally digital work environment."
