R-Squared Announces Launch Of Concur Open Payments (Sunshine Act) Reporting Solution

(R-Squared), a leading developer of compliance software for the life sciences and healthcare industries, today announced the launch of its Transparency Report Connector, which will allow smaller life sciences companies that use Concur® to generate Open Payment disclosure reports—also known as Physician Payment Sunshine reports—consistent with the requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), without the need for additional software.
R-Squared’s Transparency Report Connector automatically sends your expense report data to R-Squared for validation and disclosure report creation. R-Squared’s proprietary software analyzes expense items, including non-T&E data uploaded via spreadsheet, and covered recipient information for inclusion in the CMS Open Payments Report and the reports required in several states. R-Squared leverages its cloud-based master data management solution, CiR2us, with its advanced matching techniques including fuzzy logic to identify and validate health care professionals (HCPs) against a current copy of the National Provider Identifier (NPI) database, which is the database CMS requires for certain HCP data. Leveraging R-Squared’s expertise, rules and reporting engine, all expense data is allocated pursuant to, and formatted consistently with, CMS and state agency requirements.
