Quest International Announces Availability Of The Totoku Ccl550i2 Color 5mp Diagnostic Display From JVC Kenwood

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Quest International, Inc., a leading supplier of medical imaging display technologies and information technology solutions, today announced the availability of the Totoku CCL550i2 color diagnostic display. The newly announced 5MP (megapixel) display is the first color 5MP diagnostic display that has been granted 510(k) FFDM (Full-Field Digital Mammography) approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in all digital mammography applications.

The CCL550i2 is a 5 megapixel high-bright, color LED-backlit LCD designed for both PACS and breast imaging, eliminating the need for other multi-head display configurations or needing to move to another workstation to view additional studies.

"Totoku's new CCL550i2 offers a superb combination of image quality, versatility and value," says Bill Greenblatt, Vice President of Sales for Quest International. "Imaging facilities can now utilize a single workstation and display configuration for viewing a wide variety of images across all modalities including mammography. The benefits of using the CCL550i2 can contribute to improvements in workflow productivity and reductions in costs."

Totoku's comprehensive product line of DICOM-compliant medical displays ranges from 1.3 megapixel to 6 megapixel, grayscale and color, and are available in single and multi-head configurations. Located in Irvine, California, Quest International serves as a Master Distributor and Authorized Service Center for Totoku Medical Displays in North America.

Features of the Totoku CCL550i2 include:

  • 5MP high resolution color diagnostic display
  • 21.3-inch color TFT IPS technology display panel
  • LED backlight technology
  • 1000 cd/m² maximum luminance, calibrated to 410 cd/m² luminance
