PuriCore Announces Contract

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA, and STAFFORD, UK, September 13, 2006 -- PuriCore plc ("PuriCore") (London Stock Exchange: PURI), the developer of a novel, safe technology that mimics the human body's natural anti-microbial, hypochlorous acid, announces today that its Sterilox Food Safety division has been awarded a contract from a major US supermarket chain, worth approximately $3.3 million in cumulative revenue and cash flow over a three year period. This contract, which is the second largest in PuriCore's history, represents an initial order for just over 200 Sterilox Systems to be leased over a three year period. Installation of these Systems is expected to commence in September and to be completed by the end of the year.
