(PMI) today announced the immediate availability of software updates that simultaneously inject both deeper analysis and more rapid reporting into the biopharmaceutical development process through its Byonic, Byologic®, Byomap, and Intact Mass products.

The Intact Mass 1.1 release provides more confidence to accurately identify all forms of therapeutic proteins, giving the user the ability to control the range of MS1 scans to be summed and analyzed. In response to the needs of the modern biopharmaceutical industry, Intact Mass is a new generation of deconvolution technology that allows multiple elution peaks to be individually optimized for analysis. Therefore reduced, subunit and intact analyses can now all be performed without compromise. Biotherapeutic developers are increasingly asked to cope with complex molecules such as Antibody Drug Conjugates and heavily glycosylated proteins, and so PMI has introduced the capability of assigning masses specifically - for one, or all - elution peaks when fine-grained detail is needed.
Both Byologic 2.4 and Byomap 2.4 offer new features that create more thorough and rapid data formatting, which creates human-centric analysis, a time-stamped record of the analysis, along with faster and more flexible reporting. Specifically, each product now allows expanded pivot export capabilities and column sort and editing which facilitates critical, quantitative comparisons of development lots and biosimilars. Both of these products along with Byonic 2.8 now also offer improved reading of Waters and SCIEX files.
