Protein Could be Used to Treat Alcohol Effects on Pancreas, Cardiff University Study
EurekAlert! -- A Cardiff University-led study has discovered that a protein provides protection against the effects of alcohol in the pancreas. The findings of the study, funded by the Medical Research Council, could lead to the development of new treatments to reduce the chances of people developing pancreatic cancer.
