Promega Corporation Releases Next Generation Maxwell® 16 System for Automated Purification

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Promega Corporation announces availability of the second generation of its fully integrated Personal Automation™ System with a new look and new capabilities. The latest model handles a new low elution volume (LEV) format for smaller sample sizes in addition to the standard elution volume (SEV) capability. With the Maxwell 16 System, up to 16 DNA, RNA or recombinant protein samples can be purified simultaneously in less than 40 minutes with higher yield and more consistency than similar methods.
