10/22/2012 7:51:21 AM

Prime Therapeutics, Central Florida's newest pharmaceutical firm, celebrated its grand opening this month, bringing with it an opportunity for 213 high-wage jobs.

The Orlando Sentinel recently sat down with Prime Therapeutics President Eric Elliott on his vacation to Orlando to discuss how many jobs the company has created so far and its timeline for reaching the goal of 213 jobs. Click here for more from that interview.

The Minnesota-based pharmaceutical firm leased a 55,334-square-foot space in Southridge Commerce Park's Southridge IX building in Orange County, as previously reported by Orlando Business Journal.

The Orange County Commission approved an incentive package valued at $639,000 on Nov. 1, 2011, to lure the company to the City Beautiful.

Prime Therapeutics was one of Orlando Business Journal's Best Real Estate Deals this year, winning the best deal with developed industrial real estate.
