Precision Extrusion Hiring Again After Medical Device Tax is Lifted
Precision Extrusion, a company in Glens Falls that manufactures plastic tubing for the medical device industry, is adding two or three positions directly as a result of the two-year lifting of the federal excise tax on medical device manufacturers, EDC Warren County President Edward Bartholomew announced at the EDC board meeting on Tuesday.
The tax, established under President Obama's health care reform law, was suspended for two years in December under comprehensive budget and tax extension legislation.
