Precision BioSciences Awarded Over $3 Million from Four Government Grants

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Precision BioSciences, Inc., today announced that it has been awarded over $3 million across four government grants. These grants were each awarded to Precision during the 4th Quarter of 2010 and came from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Treasury Department, the National Institute of Health, and the State of North Carolina. Together, the grant funding will allow Precision to accelerate development of its proprietary genome engineering technology called the Directed Nuclease Editor (DNE).
