Prakash Rao, Ph.D., MBA, CHE, HCLD, Joins GW Medical Technologies, LLC As Vice President And Chief Science Officer

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Phoenix-based GW Medical Technologies, an in-vitro diagnostic company focused on the early detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD), has hired Prakash N. Rao, Ph.D., MBA, CHE, HCLD as Vice President and Chief Science Officer. Dr. Rao will manage procurement of grants, contracts and awards administration, and will oversee funding, data analysis and compliance of ongoing clinical trials in conjunction with other members of the management team. In addition to these areas, he will participate with company principals in business development, strategic planning and technology presentations. Dr. Rao’s role assures that information flow between internal research departments and business units to external funding agencies is timely, thorough and complete.
