PRA International, Inc. Staff Named Finalists in Clinical Researcher of the Year Competition

RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA, a leading clinical research organization, today announces that 22 employees have been named finalists in the 2013 Clinical Researcher of the Year competition. Fourteen employees represent PRA in the U.S. competition and eight employees represent PRA in the International competition.

The prestigious competition, organized by PharmaTimes, named PRA "Clinical Company of the Year" in 2012 based on the total points earned by its employees' performances in individual competitions. Last year, PRA staff members achieved two first-place prizes and two third-place prizes

PRA finalists in the 2013 U.S. competition for the "New CRA" category are Lee Steen, Maria Joshi, and Mercy Baker; the "Experienced CRA" category finalists are Jennifer Wiley and Susan Goodnough; the "Project Manager" category finalists are Promise Lawrence, Adrienne Stoudenmire, Sarah Connell, and Adam Cohen; and the "Team" category finalists are Denise Butler, Laura Hampshire, Dani Eaton, Denise Richard, and Heidi Miller.

PRA finalists in the International competition for the "Clinical Team" category are Alison Edwards, Clare Jeffery, Charlotte Craggs, and Angharad Smith; the "CRA" category finalist is Victoria Hawkins; the "CTA" category finalist is Ketaki Pathare; and the "Team Leader" category finalists are Emma Lewis and Justin Harvey.

The finals for the U.S. competition will take place Nov. 7, 2013, in Cary, N.C., at the global headquarters of SAS, a competition partner. An awards ceremony announcing the winners will take place later that day at the Umstead Hotel on the SAS campus.

The finals for the International competition will take place Nov. 13 and Nov. 28, 2013. An awards ceremony announcing the winners will take place Jan. 30, 2014, at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London.
