Phillips-Medisize Expansion Brings 1oo+ Jobs to Wisconsin

A developer’s agreement with a local manufacturer is promised to bring more than 100 new jobs to Menomonie. Originally known as Phillips Plastics, Phillips-Medisize have planned a 16,000-square-foot addition to Phillips Origen Center in the Stout Technology Park on Menomonie’s east side to manufacture and package pharmaceutical products. Construction will be complete by December 31. In exchange for $200,000 tax incremental financing provided by the city, the company agrees to create additional assessed valuation of $2.5 million to the property as of next year. Phillips-Medisize currently employs around 360 people. Under the agreement, at least 100 full-time more positions must be created before February 2016.
