Drug giant Pfizer has sued the state of Texas for telling elected officials how much the company charges taxpayers for pharmaceuticals.
Pfizer says the price that the Texas Medicaid program pays is a trade secret, apparently more important that what actually goes into the medicine, which happens to be public record. Medicaid is the state health program for poor children, their mothers and the disabled.
