Perot Systems Corporation Selected to Implement Health Information Systems in China
CHANGSHA, China, July 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems Corporation (www.perotsystems.com) today announced an agreement with the Hunan Provincial Government of the People's Republic of China that will authorize the company to provide IT consulting services for healthcare organizations and public health initiatives throughout the Province. In collaboration with the Provincial Government and in alignment with the Chinese national healthcare reform, the company was designated to begin the process of establishing the Regional Health Information Platform of Hunan Province, starting in its capital city of Changsha. The company will also begin the transformation of healthcare information technology in multiple hospitals and other healthcare organizations throughout the region immediately.
