PerkinElmer, Inc. Names Achim von Leoprechting as Vice President, Cellular Imaging and Analysis
Dr. von Leoprechting brings broad experience in scientific, operational and sales leadership, a strong customer relationship focus, as well as in-depth knowledge of the market to his new appointment.

Prior to his new appointment, Dr. von Leoprechting was the European sales director within the Company's Bio-discovery business element, where he led growth in instrument and reagent sales. He has been with the Company in a variety of technology, sales and marketing leadership roles since PerkinElmer acquired his previous employer, Packard BioScience in 2002.
Dr. von Leoprechting received his Ph.D. in Biology from Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg, Germany, and has numerous publications in cell biology, including the areas of cancer research, biochemical and cellular assay development and structural protein research.
