PerkinElmer, Inc. Expands Its OneSource(R) Laboratory Services with Acquisition of LabMetrix Technologies

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI - News), a global leader in Health Sciences and Photonics, today announced the acquisition of LabMetrix Technologies, the largest independent provider of metrology-based multi-vendor analytical instrument qualification solutions. The acquisition of LabMetrix adds technology, tools, proven processes and compliance expertise to PerkinElmer’s growing suite of OneSource® laboratory services, strengthening its support of customers in a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, medical device, food, toy and other consumer goods. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
