OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc. Names U.S. National Sales Director

HOUSTON, May 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc., makers of AcceleDent, a new device to accelerate orthodontic treatment, welcomes Christopher J. Bodish to the newly created position of United States National Sales Director. Mr. Bodish will oversee direct field sales in all United States market territories.

Taking this position is a natural career progression for him. Until recently, Mr. Bodish worked with OrthoAccel as a consultant. He brings to the position vast experience and a remarkably successful track record in sales and sales management. During his thirty years in the orthodontic industry he's made countless contributions to the field, including a long and distinguished career with perennial market leader DENTSPLY GAC International.

Mr. Bodish will report to Dwight Schnaitter, Vice President of Sales, who comments, "The most exciting attribute Chris brings to OrthoAccel is his leadership. He carries forward proven success in managing many of the areas that will require our focus. These include territory growth, talent recruitment and training, opinion leader management, and commitment to an educational and partnership-based selling approach."

In related news, OrthoAccel was pleased to introduce AcceleDent at the 112th Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists, held May 48 in Honolulu. OrthoAccel's exhibit included an international kiosk, complemented by a theatre setting for presenting a series of educational "microlectures" on a number of subjects, including the scientific and clinical evidence supporting AcceleDent.

In order to accommodate growth, the Houston-based company recently finalized plans to move to a larger facility.
