Orion Genomics Scientific Co-Founder Rob Martienssen Appointed Fellow Of The Royal Society Of London

ST. LOUIS, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Orion Genomics today announced that scientific co-founder, Rob Martienssen, Ph.D., was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of London, the oldest and most venerated scientific academy in the world. The Society offers Fellowship only to the most eminent scientists of the day, who are elected by peer-review based on outstanding scientific contributions. In addition to past Fellows Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin and Albert Einstein, the Society today is made up of more than 20 Nobel Laureates including James D. Watson, Ph.D., co-discoverer of the structure of DNA, who, like Martienssen, is a member of Orion's Scientific Advisory Board.
