Origin Of Rare Heart Condition Found
Johns Hopkins scientists say they've identified the most likely origins of a rare heart condition, arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, or ARVD. Researchers identified 13 mutations in a gene called plakophilin-2, or PKP2, as the origin of the condition.
