Obese Women More Likely to Have Large Babies, Kaiser Permanente Study

Gaining weight throughout your pregnancy is normal, but how much is too much? A new study, conducted by the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Department of Research & Evaluation, examines the effects of pre-pregnancy body weight, gestational diabetes, and excess weight gain during pregnancy and the effects each have on a newborn.
