Next Advance Unveils New Model of High-Throughput Homogenizer; Handles Eight 50 mL Tubes

AVERILL PARK, NY, November 09, 2010 – Next Advance, Inc., a manufacturer of laboratory instruments for the life sciences, announces the BULLET BLENDER™ 50-DX.

Now you can homogenize larger samples and get high quality results. A new homogenizer for high throughput of larger samples, the BB50-DX rounds out the Bullet Blender® product line from Next Advance. This instrument is designed for researchers isolating protein, RNA, DNA or viable cells and bacteria from larger animals or cell cultures. The Bullet Blender™ 50-DX homogenizes up to 3.5g tissue samples or 20 mL cell cultures in standard 50 mL tubes. Up to 8 soft or 4 tough samples can be homogenized at a time, typically in 9 minutes or less. The Bullet Blenders provide high yields and consistent results, and the patented design limits heating to just several degrees and avoids chances of cross-contamination.
