NEXCORE Technology Acquires Meditron Line of Medical Products

WALDWICK, N.J., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ --Nexcore Technologies, Inc.of Waldwick, an original equipment manufacturer of medical devices, today announced it has acquired the Meditron line of gastroenterology endoscopy products from CooperSurgical, Inc. of Trumbull, CT.

Milton Frank, President & CEO of Nexcore Technologies, said the acquisition is an important component of his company's growth in gastroenterology endoscopy products, noting that the Meditron product line is known throughout the medical community for quality, reliability and competitive pricing.

"A key component of this acquisition is our company's dedication to customer service," said Frank, noting the product line of pumps, probes and electro-surgical generators are all manufactured at the company's 30,000-square-foot facility in Waldwick. "We recognize the critical importance of these products to physicians, surgical centers and hospitals. That is why we have set up our internal systems to ship the same day as orders are made."
