Newark Biotech Company on Its Own; Spin-off iBioPharma, Inc. Turns Plant Protein into Drugs

A Delaware biopharmaceutical firm is now independent after spinning off from its parent company last month. IBioPharma Inc., formerly known as InB:Biotechnologies Inc., is trading on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol "IBPM." The company, located in the Delaware Technology Park in Newark, is working to develop vaccines and drugs by producing proteins in plants, using a technology developed by the nonprofit Fraunhofer Center for Molecular Biotechnology.
