New Cambridge-Based Biotech VC Firm Remiges BioPharma Emerges, Eyes $150 Million Fund

A newly formed venture capital firm focused on investments into drug discovery and development, Remiges BioPharma, has its US headquarters in Cambridge and is seeking to raise a $150 million fund.

The firm’s other office is located in Tokyo. The firm so far has raised $70 million toward its inaugural fund, according to a US Securities and Exchange filing, and yesterday Taiho Pharmaceutical Co. of Japan announced it had contributed $30 million of the funding.
