NanoRANCH To Move HQ To Lexington, Will Start Hiring In Late December

NanoRANCH, parent company of a group of nanotechnology businesses, will moves its headquarters to Lexington, Gov. Matt Bevin and Mayor Jim Gray announced today. The move will result in a $700,000 investment and creation of 35 jobs. Screen Shot 2015-12-11 at 9.02.33 AM Company President Nalin Kumar, in a press release, attributed his decision to relocate nanoRANCH – and its primary company, UHV Technologies Inc. – to Lexington in large part to Kentucky’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Matching Funds program. The grant program, begun in 2006, provides qualifying companies a match of up to 100 percent of federal SBIR/STTR awards they receive.
