Many years ago, Hollywood movie Sneakers decided that “my voice is my passport, verify me.” Using biometrics as an identifying mark for digital endeavours is a thriving markets, and one company looking to make an impact on that space is Bionym. They are putting the finishing touches to Nymi, their solution for the identity problem. The wearable sensor will read the ‘unique cardiac rhythm’ of the wrist that is strapped around, and pass this identifying mark over to a paired smartphones.
