EVENT DETAILS:

Mustard Tree Instruments®, a leader in analytical instrumentation for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, will be exhibiting at Pittcon 2012, the world's largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science. In addition to exhibiting, Mustard Tree will be hosting live demos of the company’s in-line and in-process multi-variant testing devices which utilize highly accurate Raman spectroscopy to determine material identity and purity.

CEO Todd Blonshine will be presenting on quality control issues on Sunday, March 11. He will be the first speaker in the High-Throughput Chemical Analysis session track beginning at 1:00 p.m., discussing an emerging multi-variant approach to obtaining immediate, unambiguous results from drug product samples using a combination of machine vision and Raman spectroscopy.

The analytical instrumentation leader recently unveiled the latest addition to its game-changing toolset for identification and composition testing of raw and blended materials, the Mustard Tree Verifier™ Process System 1000 (VPS-1000). The unit performs sensitive real-time testing of liquids, powders, solids, gels, suspensions and emulsions in a variety of harsh conditions and hygienic environments. The Mustard Tree Verifier™ Tri-Test 1000 (VTT-1000) multi-variant testing device, released in May 2011, performs non-destructive chemical identification, size, and color analysis in benign environments.
