Molecular Response (MRL) Announces The Opening Of New Facilities In San Diego, Accredited By The College of American Pathologists

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Sept. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Molecular Response (MRL), a privately held molecular diagnostic laboratory and a leader in the identification of target populations for high value therapeutics, has opened a new, purpose-built facility in the Torrey Pines biotech campus on 11011 Torreyana Road in San Diego. The new facility, equipped with its exclusive vivarium, is CLIA-certified, and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). 

The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is an internationally recognized program that utilizes teams of practicing laboratory professionals as inspectors. Designed to go well beyond regulatory compliance, the CAP program helps laboratories achieve the highest standards of excellence to ensure optimal patient care.  Upon successful completion of the inspection process, the laboratory is awarded CAP accreditation and becomes part of an exclusive group of more than 7,000 laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence.

MRL's Medical Director, Howard Robin, M.D., was congratulated by the College of American Pathologists for the accreditation and the excellent services being provided by MRL.
