Mission3 Double Downs at Drug Information Association EDM and ERS/eCTD Conference

Scottsdale, AZ – October 3, 2012 – Mission3, the Premier Regulatory Information Management provider for the Life Science industry will have two speakers at the DIA’s EDM and ERS/eCTD Conference (October 9-10) in Baltimore, Maryland. Dirk Beth and Adair Turner of Mission3 will each address different educational sessions during the conference.

Dirk, CEO and Founder of Mission3, will be addressing two sessions during the conference. On October 9th, at 3:30 p.m., his talk, “The Life Science Cloud Acceptance Curve from 2007 to 2013: What It Took To Come From Skepticism To Acceptance” will address that after overcoming initial resistance, the acceptance that cloud computing applications now have within the Life Science industry. Companies ranging from top 5 pharma to the virtual start up have found cloud applications that solve pressing operational and IT problems.

“We were the first cloud based IT provider to specifically serve the Life Science community with solutions for Data Management, Regulatory Submission publishing, and tracking. We had to really educate the community to the benefits of cloud-based applications and bring them along. With the capital crunch that many companies have experienced over the last five years, they really have no business spending vast amounts of money and time - both of which are in scare amounts – purchasing a traditional enterprise software solution and then laboring through the implementation process. Our cloud bases solution, OnDemand, provides companies with all facets for EDMS, eTMF, and Regulatory Publishing. It can be implemented very quickly and is extremely budget friendly.”, said Dirk.

Dirk’s second session will focus on the end-to-end process for Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies when submitting their promotion materials. By conducting in-depth reviews of business processes and harnessing the power of technology companies can bring efficiency to the management and submission of promotional materials. This will be on October 10th at 8:30 a.m.

On October 9th, at 3:30 pm, Adair Turner, Manager of Regulatory Affairs, will address the real world challenges companies face when moving away from a paper based Trial Master File solution to an electronic Trial Master File (eTMF). While there has been a great deal of discussion and activity within the industry, the fact remains that many companies have not yet embraced or implemented the DIA’s eTMF Reference Model.

“Making the switch from a paper driven TMF to an eTMF should be a major priority at every company. Those that haven’t made this a priority are really committing a very fiscal and strategic error given the multitude of benefits that a comprehensive eTMF solution provides. Mission3’s eTMF solution utilizes the DIA’s Reference Model, making the transition for companies very easy while decreasing their operating costs and increasing efficiency.”, said Adair.

In addition to the speaking engagements at the conference, Mission3 will be exhibiting its solutions at Booth #300.
