Miramar Labs Announces Global Expansion Of miraDry System Into Chinese Market
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Global aesthetic company Miramar® Labs, Inc., announced today that it has received State Food & Drug Administration (SFDA) approval for the marketing and sale of the miraDry® system in the People's Republic of China. The approval follows US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance of miraDry in January 2011 and (CE) Mark approval in December 2013. The miraDry system utilizes the Company's proprietary miraWave technology and is the first system to permanently eliminate apocrine and eccrine glands in the axilla which are the cause of unwanted sweat and odor.
