Mid-Peninsula: Biotech's New Hot Spot
Mid-Peninsula is the new hot spot for Bay Area biotech, according to an annual BayBio real estate survey of local companies. Six biotech companies said they planned to expand or move R&D operations to the Mid-Peninsula, including Redwood City, Foster City and San Carlos. Four companies said they planned to grow or site manufacturing there.
