Company extends decade-long relationship with Premier and marks first contract with Ascension Health Alliance’s recently formed GPO
BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Microline Surgical, Inc., a leading manufacturer of reposable instruments for minimally invasive surgery, today announced that it has been awarded contracts by group purchasing organizations (GPOs) Premier and Ascension.

The three-year, multisource Premier contract, effective April 2, 2015, covers Microline’s core line of high precision, laparoscopic surgical instruments, including its ReNew reusable hand piece and disposable tips. Microline has been one of Premier’s strategic business partners since 2004, with this new agreement marking an extension of the company’s 11-year relationship with the GPO.
Microline’s three-year agreement with the recently formed GPO Ascension, effective January 1, 2015, marks a new business partnership for the company. The contract covers not only Microline’s reposable endomechanical instruments, but also its MiFusion energy product line, including the MiSeal Reposable Thermal Ligating System, ENTceps forceps and TLS3 Thermal Ligating Shears.
