Meridian Medical Technologies Inc. Lands $130 Million Pentagon Deal For Nerve Agent Antidotes

Maryland's Meridian Medical Technologies is moving ahead with a whopping $129.5 million U.S. government contract to develop auto-injectors that can deliver nerve agent antidotes.

The U.S. Defense Dept. announced the award on its website yesterday. Few other details were disclosed, other than that work on the project will take place in Maryland and Missouri through 2015, and that the resulting medtech is designed to benefit the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
