Meridian Co. Ltd.: Research Abstract Accepted to the Renowned American Society of Lasers in Medicine & Surgery

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - February 24, 2010) - Meridian Co., Ltd. (OTCBB: MRDAF), a company engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of advanced medical devices, is proud to announce that the American Society of Lasers in Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS) (www.aslms.org) has accepted the Lapex BCS Low Level Laser Therapy research abstract for presentation at the 30th Annual Conference to be held in April 14-18, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Approximately 900 abstracts are submitted each year to the ASLMS and less than 10% are accepted for presentation based on the quality and significance of research. ASLMS is the premier forum for state-of-the-art education and unmatched value of the biggest event for innovation in medical lasers and related products. The abstract will be permanently hosted on the ASLMS archives after the annual meeting and will serve as a great educational tool for physicians.

The abstract will be published in the ASLMS Abstract Book, published annually in conjunction with the ASLMS annual meeting. Dr. Vinod Podichetty will be presenting the study details on behalf of the research team at the 30th Annual Conference in Phoenix.
