Meridian Co., Ltd. Announces New Canadian Subsidiary
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 12, 2003--Mr. Myeong, President of Meridian Co., Ltd. ("Meridian" or the "Company") (OTCBB:MRDAF), is pleased to announce that the Company has opened a new wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, Meridian Medical Inc.
Mr. Myeong has signed an agreement with Meridian Medical Inc. for the licensing and distribution rights to North America in order to increase the Company's global presence. The new office of Meridian Medical Inc. is located in Vancouver, British Columbia and is in the process of hiring a national distributor for the United States and Canada. The Company is excited at the prospect of launching its products in Canada, due to Meridian's Korean-based office in Los Angeles, which has been enormously successful in selling the company's products within the Korean-speaking market.
With the incorporation of Meridian Medical Inc. it will now be possible to have North America-wide representation in conjunction with its U.S. partner to effectively promote its products throughout North America.
