Meridian Bioscience, Inc. Names CEO

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meridian Bioscience, Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio (NASDAQ: VIVO) today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Jack Kraeutler to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kraeutler joined the Company in January, 1992 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In July 1992, Mr. Kraeutler was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Meridian. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Kraeutler served as Vice President, General Manager for a division of Carter-Wallace, Inc. Prior to that, he held key marketing and technical positions with Becton, Dickinson and Company and Organon, Inc. Mr. Kraeutler has more than 35 years of experience in the medical diagnostics industry and has been a Director of Meridian since 1997.
