Merck & Co., Inc. to Add 180 New Jobs in Durham
Merck will spend another $300 million to expand its vaccine manufacturing complex in Durham, the company says. The New Jersey pharmaceutical giant says the expansion will add 150 to 180 jobs in the Bull City. When work on the expansion is complete in 2011, Merck (NYSE: MRK) expects to have a total of 400 employees at the site.
