Megadyne Medical Products, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of electrosurgical products, today announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with Ethicon Endo-Surgery Inc. (Ethicon) Energy business, market leaders in advanced energy surgical devices.

According to the terms of the agreement, Megadyne and Ethicon will now offer contracting solutions for customers in the U.S. that will increase both choice and access to a broad energy portfolio across multiple energy platforms. The combined portfolio includes monopolar and standard bipolar from Megadyne and advanced bipolar and ultrasonic energy from Ethicon.
