Medtronic, Inc. Pays Johnson & Johnson $270 Million to End Royalty Dispute

NEW YORK, May 8 (Reuters) - Medical device maker Medtronic Inc said on Friday it paid Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) $270 million to settle outstanding royalty disputes between the companies involving 1997 license agreements on artery clearing angioplasty stent and balloon patents.
