MINNEAPOLIS & DUBLIN, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT) and Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) announced that following a hearing today before the Irish High Court the companies have scheduled shareholder meetings for Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in connection with the pending acquisition of Covidien by Medtronic.
