MediciNova, Inc. and Avigen, Inc. Stockholders Approve Merger

(Nasdaq:AVGN), a biopharmaceutical company, today announced that their respective stockholders have approved the merger pursuant to which a wholly-owned subsidiary of MediciNova will merge with and into Avigen.
