Medical Device Company, Tech Group Europe, To Expand Operation After Winning Contract

Medical device company Tech Group Europe is to expand its operation in north Dublin after securing a big contract to supply injectable devices for diabetes sufferers. The Mulhuddart-based firm, which is a subsidiary of the US group West Pharmaceutical Services, said the program involved the manufacture, assembly and decoration of a complex injectable device for the diabetes market and would go into full-scale production next year. The new contract will require the expansion of the existing site by 12,000 square feet.
