McKesson Corporation to Build $37 Million Medical Device Distribution Center in Virginia, Will Create 205 New Jobs

McKesson Corporation, a healthcare services and information technology company, will invest $36.9 million to establish a distribution operation in Frederick County, Virginia, creating more than 200 jobs in the region. From its new center along US 11, near Interstate 81 in the unincorporated northern Virginia farming community of Clear Brook, the company will distribute medical and surgical supplies to physician offices, surgery centers, long-term care facilities and home care businesses in a regional service area that includes; New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, eastern West Virginia, and northern North Carolina.
