ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lansing, Michigan Mayor Virg Bernero and senior executives from Emergent BioSolutions Inc. (NYSE:EBS) today held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the formal opening of a new administration building at Emergent’s Michigan campus. The 32,000 sq. ft. building marks the new entrance to the company’s 12.5-acre site and symbolizes Emergent’s commitment to its employees and to growth in the community. “The addition of Building 63 represents our continued commitment to our role as premier supplier of medical countermeasures as well as our steady growth and investment in the Lansing community,” said Fuad El-Hibri, executive chairman of the board, Emergent BioSolutions. “Emergent has achieved many milestones since its founding in 1998, each unique and a source of pride.
